Tim Schwarting is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in telecommunications, IT law, and corporate legal affairs. Currently serving as the Head of Data Economy, Cyber-/IT-Security, Telecommunications & Radio at Volkswagen AG since January 2016, Tim Schwarting has expertise in areas such as Industrial Internet of Things, car security, artificial intelligence, and radio regulation. Prior to this role, Tim Schwarting held various leadership positions at E.ON SE from 2008 to 2015, including Head of Center of Competence Legal and Head of Legal Affairs for power generation projects in Germany and Europe.
