Ovidiu Nicolescu

Ovidiu Nicolescu is an accomplished engineering professional with a robust background in validation and calibration, currently serving as a Validation Engineer at Volta Trucks since February 2022. Previously held positions include Controls System Engineer at Dolphin N2 and Calibration and Controls Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, where responsibilities encompassed software validation and the calibration of various vehicle systems, including engine management and onboard diagnostics. Ovidiu also worked as a Calibration Engineer at Groupe Renault, leading the calibration of gasoline engines and managing dataset delivery to ensure project excellence. Ovidiu holds two degrees from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, with a Master’s in Science and Management of Testing Laboratories and a Bachelor's in Automotive Engineering.
