Michael Wuennemann

Michael Wuennemann is an experienced leader in the energy sector, currently serving as Country Manager and Geschäftsführer at VoltH2 since December 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at TRACTEBEL from April 2010 to December 2024, including Head of Gas-to-X, where responsibility involved integrating classical gas operations with green gas initiatives across multiple European locations. Michael also served as General Manager of Business Line Energy, focusing on global business strategy and talent management, along with serving as Executive Director and Department Head for Power Plant Engineering, overseeing engineering services for various power plants. Earlier career experiences include roles at MAN Turbo, Alstom Power, and ABB, where Michael contributed to systems engineering and project management. Michael holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau from the University of Duisburg-Essen, earned between 1989 and 1995.
