Ilija Vankov

Ilija Vankov is a seasoned software engineer and architect with extensive experience across various roles in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Volvo Cars since July 2024, Ilija previously held multiple positions at Klarna, including Domain Architect, Principal Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Senior Engineer from October 2019 to July 2024. As a self-employed software engineer since November 2013, Ilija focuses on open-source development, creating libraries aimed at enhancing large-scale projects. Notable past roles include Software Architect at Axeltra, CTO at Certilabo, and Team Leader of Front-end Development at both Peak Games and uNapse.
