João Paulo Soares

João Paulo Soares is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web development and software engineering. Currently serving as an engineer at Vouch.io since March 2021, João Paulo also operates as a frontend Clojurescript freelancer for Jp Soft and Tech since December 2018. Previously, as the founder of Periodiza, responsibilities included developing JavaScript components for a Progressive Web App and making strategic decisions based on user interviews. João Paulo has also worked as a software engineer at Ayuda Media Systems, where clean coding practices in .NET C# and JavaScript were emphasized, and as a web developer intern at the University of Kent, focusing on a web crawler project. Early career experience includes an internship at Teddy Bear Filmes, managing video editing and server operations. An alumnus of UFSCar with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology, João Paulo furthered studies in Computer Science at the University of Kent and holds a technical degree in Multimedia Production from Liceu de Artes e Ofícios de São Paulo.
