Kirsten Buckingham

Kirsten Buckingham currently serves as the LCS Independent Variant Baseline Manager Support at VT Group, providing technical, program management, and analytical assistance for the Small Surface Combatants Integrated Combat Systems. Responsibilities include managing Combat System Baselines, supporting ship integration and test efforts, and addressing fleet readiness issues for the Littoral Combat Ship class. Prior to this role, Kirsten worked at Serco, focusing on acquisition management and post-delivery support for the Ship to Shore Connector program. Earlier experience includes a Management Trainee position at Enterprise Holdings, where Kirsten employed a consultative selling approach and built customer relationships. Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, with a concentration in Environmental Change, from West Virginia University and previously pursued a Bachelor's in Geology at Old Dominion University.
