Neway Araya

Neway Araya is a Venture Capital Fellow at VU Venture Partners, where responsibilities include sourcing investment opportunities, developing investment theses, conducting due diligence, and building a network across the startup ecosystem. Previously, Neway served as a Venture Analyst at Newchip Accelerator, providing curated deal-flow to match investment theses and assisting VCs with sourcing. Prior experience includes roles as Lead RnD Engineer at U: The Mind Company and various research positions at The Ohio State University and UCSF Medical Center, focusing on neuroengineering and bio-circuit technology. Neway Araya is currently pursuing an MD/MBA at the University of Miami and holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Neuroscience from The Ohio State University.
