Joachim Hammersland

Joachim Hammersland currently serves as Vice President and interim Head of W5 Solutions Sweden since May 2024. Prior to this role, Joachim held the position of Head of Business Area Defence at MW Group from August 2022 to May 2024. A significant portion of Joachim's career was spent at Saab, where roles included Head of M&S Electronic Warfare and Aircraft Systems, Vice President and Strategic Advisor, Vice President and Head of Business Unit Combat Systems and C4I Solutions, Director Deployment, and Key Account Manager from January 2010 to August 2022. Earlier in their career, Joachim was Vice President of Integrated Security Systems at Saab Security Systems AB from January 2008 to January 2009. Joachim holds a Master's degree in Management Engineering with a focus on Logistics from Luleå University of Technology, completed between 1990 and 1994, and also studied at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1993-1994.
