Martin Sifuentes is an experienced Buying/Procurement Manager at Wabtec Corporation since February 2019, leading a team of 6 full-time employees and 5 part-time expeditors, focusing on strategic procurement across multiple production sites in the USA. Previously, Martin served as a Lead Sourcing Specialist at GE Transportation, where responsibilities included direct material buying and planning, achieving zero shop shutdowns due to material shortages. Martin’s career in procurement began as an Export Fulfillment Leader at GE Transportation, coordinating a buyer team for locomotive parts kits, and earlier as a Materials Expeditor/Buyer, working on delivery improvement projects.
