Johnny Jiasheng Chen

Johnny Jiasheng Chen is an accomplished industrial designer with extensive experience across various roles in the design industry. Currently serving as an Industrial Designer at WAC Lighting since June 2024, Johnny specializes in creating decorative lighting designs. As the Founder of Forenext Design since January 2023, Johnny leads design research and product development, producing 3D models and visual designs. Previous positions include 3D Graphic Designer at Test Rite, where Johnny focused on design research and digital content creation, and Industrial Designer at Masonite®, with expertise in industrial and UX design. Additionally, Johnny has held teaching assistant roles at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, emphasizing CNC machining and parametric design. With a Master of Design in Designed Objects and a solid foundation in product design from Ming Chuan University, Johnny combines creative innovation with technical skill in design.
