Chia-Lin Wang

Chia-Lin Wang is a highly skilled research scientist currently employed at the Wadsworth Center, NYS Department of Health since February 2024, with a previous role at NYU Langone Health as a member of the Rodent Genetic Engineering Laboratory. Wang has extensive experience in genetic engineering, particularly in developing transgenic mouse models utilizing CRISPR technology and other advanced methods during a tenure at Mirimus, Inc. as Director of Genetic Engineering Services. Wang's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology from Stony Brook University, complemented by master's and bachelor's degrees in Microbiology and Immunology, and Life Science, respectively. Notable research contributions include multiple publications in prestigious journals and a strong foundation in molecular and cellular studies from a postdoctoral fellowship at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
