Patrick Scott

Patrick Scott is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Assistant County Attorney for Wake County since January 2025. Prior to this role, Patrick held the position of Deputy General Counsel at ACT Power Services from August 2023 to January 2025 and worked as an Associate at Teague Campbell Dennis & Gorham, LLP from September 2019 to August 2023. Earlier experience includes a Legal Extern position at the Wake County District Attorney’s Office and a Summer Associate role at Teague Campbell Dennis & Gorham, LLP. Patrick gained judicial experience as an Extern with the North Carolina Court of Appeals and served as a Law Clerk at Crabtree, Carpenter & Connolly, PLLC. With a background in law enforcement as a Police Detective and former Deputy Sheriff, Patrick holds a Juris Doctor from Campbell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
