Christopher Giauque

Christopher Giauque is an experienced laboratory director with a strong background in molecular diagnostics and clinical laboratory management. Currently serving as the Laboratory Director at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist since October 2022, Giauque has held similar leadership roles at multiple organizations, including HealthX, Quantgene, Xenomics Massachusetts Labs, and Golden Lab. Previous experience includes a Clinical Laboratory Manager position in Precision Genomics at Intermountain Healthcare, and roles at ARUP Laboratories and Castle Medical, LLC, where Giauque led teams in high-complexity molecular testing and hereditary cancer testing. Giauque also contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Genetics at Kennesaw State University and served on the advisory committee for the Medical Laboratory Science Program at Dixie State University. Giauque earned a Ph.D. in Biology/Biological Sciences from Dartmouth College.
