Blake’s passion for people has drawn him to roles in client engagement for the majority of his career. He is a highly relationship-driven person who enjoys helping individuals and organizations become more effective in achieving their goals. Clients and colleagues alike depend on Blake’s strong commitment to his work and his level-headed approach to solving problems.
Blake serves as Waldron’s Managing Director of Client Engagement where he oversees business development, client engagement, and account management. He is focused on boosting growth and influence of Waldron’s Effective Organizations and Career Transition practices by partnering with key clients in accelerating leadership and organizational evolution. As a member of the Waldron Executive Team, Blake also helps shape Waldron’s internal culture and strategic direction for the future. This role aligns his love of connecting with clients and his desire to impact positive change and growth.
Prior to Waldron, Blake served as the Vice President of Client Solutions for Fierce Inc., a global leadership development firm specializing in helping companies build more collaborative corporate cultures. In his 8 years there, Blake led new client development and account management teams while helping Fierce’s key clients create and execute large scale leadership development rollouts. He was also a part of the management team responsible for the strategic vision of the organization.
Blake received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington.
When not with Waldron clients, you can still find Blake supporting others. Blake is a member of the Communities in Schools Board of Directors as giving back to his community is a big part of his own personal mission. As the first in his family to graduate college, Blake is committed to promoting education as a means of social justice. Blake enjoys athletics, international travel, and exploring different wines from regions around the world. Blake currently lives in Queen Anne with his wife, Caitlyn, and their children, Saxon and Hutsen.
