Joyce Newmyer

Joyce Newmyer joined the Walla Walla University board in 2016. She has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno and a Master’s in Health Services Administration from St. Francis University.

Joyce is the Senior Vice President for Adventist Health and President, Pacific Northwest Region. Previous to that, she served as president of Washington Adventist Hospital, chief operations officer of Shawnee Mission medical Center, and chief operations officer of Tennessee Christian Medical Center.

Her hobbies are painting, music, crocheting, and reading. She is also a worship leader.

Joyce and her husband, G.J., have four adult children and two grandchildren.
