Jay Eason

Jay Eason is an experienced Information Technology professional currently serving as an Information Technology Engineer at Walsh Door & Security since October 2024, where responsibilities include assisting staff and customers with technology issues. Prior to this, Jay held the position of IT Director at the City of Ankeny from April 1997 to October 2024, leading a team of five in managing all voice and data operations. Previously, as an MIS Officer, Jay managed a smaller team, maintaining similar operational duties. Jay also worked as a Network Administrator at the YMCA of Greater Des Moines from 1991 to 1997. Jay holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Iowa State University, earned between 1981 and 1991.
