John Sunderland

John Sunderland is the current Director at WaND Consulting, and has over 40 years of experience in various leadership roles. John started their career in 1979 as an Engineer Officer in the Royal Navy, and has since held positions in intelligence, systems engineering, knowledge & information exploitation, acquisition, training and large-scale programme management. In 2003, they became the Operating Process & Industry Engagement Lead at The Niteworks Partnership, and then in 2004 they took on the role of Defence Technical Training Change Programme | Chief of Staff at the UK Ministry of Defence. John remained with the Ministry of Defence until 2012, when they joined Adze Consulting. John has been with WaND Consulting since 2018.

John Sunderland has a MSc in Design of Information Systems from Cranfield University, a BSc(Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, and certification from The Engineering Council in Chartered Engineer, Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) in Fellow, and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in Fellow.
