Aaron Ward

Aaron Ward is an experienced Controls Engineer at Ward Automation, where responsibilities include designing and programming robotic, machine vision, and PLC solutions for custom automation machines since September 2009. Noteworthy projects encompass vision-guided robotic systems, machine vision design and development using major technologies such as Cognex and Keyence, and programming various types of robots and PLCs. Prior experience includes technical game design with Dare to be Digital, where a game prototype was developed within a 10-week period, and a BEng in Computer Games Development from Ulster University, along with a M.Eng. in Electronic Systems, Image Processing and Analysis from Dublin City University. Early career experience also includes roles as an electronic technician/programmer at Ward Automation and surf instructor at Bundoran Surf Co.
