April Washburn

April Washburn has extensive experience in university administration and coaching, currently serving as the Director and holding various managerial positions at Washington and Lee University since July 2005. Previous roles include Non-Book Manager, Associate Director, and Assistant Non-Book Manager in the University Store, as well as Administrative Assistant for Elrod Commons, where responsibilities involved managing student life activities. April also coached varsity volleyball at Rockbridge County High School and developed youth volleyball skills as a coach for the Rockbridge Area Recreation Organization. Early career roles included instructional technology support at Washington and Lee University and office management at Young Life Rockbridge Alum Springs Camp. April holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Abilene Christian University.
