Gene McCabe

Gene McCabe serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Washington and Lee University since 2006, overseeing NCAA and institutional compliance for the athletic department, programs, coaches, and student athletes. McCabe's experience includes leadership roles such as President of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association from December 2017 to December 2019 and as Head Men's Lacrosse Coach and Assistant Professor of Physical Education at Hamilton College from January 2002 to August 2006. McCabe's educational background includes a BA in European History from Bates College and an MBA in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
