Julien Dourlen

Julien Dourlen is a seasoned educator and coach with extensive experience in physical education and sports management. Currently serving as the Head Coach of the High School Badminton team and Physical Education teacher at the French American International School in San Francisco since October 2013, Julien has taught grades K-12 and currently focuses on lower school classes. As Head of the Physical Education department, Julien manages a team of PE teachers and conducts pedagogical meetings. Prior experience includes directing a French immersion camp and holding various teaching roles, including at Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley. Julien is also the former owner of the clothing brand Yellow Sweat Socks and worked as a strategy consultant for the French Olympic Committee. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Sport Management and Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, complemented by a French coaching certification in Taekwondo. Additionally, Julien has pursued further professional development through workshops in positive discipline.
