Alicia S. McDonnell

Alicia McDonnell is an attorney and a civic volunteer. She is a former supervising assistant district attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts. Previous roles include investigator for the White Collar Crime and Public Corruption Unit in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts, victim/witness advocate in the District Attorney’s Office, assistant district attorney for Suffolk County, city attorney for the Boston Police Department, and supervising assistant district attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

Ms. McDonnell has served the university in many leadership roles. In addition to the Board of Trustees, she currently is a member of the Law School National Council, and chair of the Eliot Executive Committee. She is a past member of the Boston Regional Cabinet and served as vice chair of scholarships and fellowships for Leading Together: The Campaign for Washington University, which concluded in 2018. Ms. McDonnell earned her bachelor’s from the University of Rochester and her Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis.
