Laura Martinez

Laura Martinez has extensive experience in administrative and leadership roles within various organizations. Since February 2016, Laura has worked at Washoe County, Nevada, holding positions as Administrative Assistant, Legal Secretary, and Office Assistant II. Simultaneously, Laura serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors at Community Health Alliance Nevada, a position held since November 2020. Previous experience includes organizing for Nevada Census 2020 and working as a Field Organizer for the Nevada State Democratic Party. Additionally, Laura has held roles in community organizations such as Mi Familia Vota and Nevada Hispanic Services, where responsibilities included managing youth programs and serving as Interim Executive Director. Laura began their career at Target as a Cashier. Educationally, Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an Associate of Arts from Truckee Meadows Community College, along with an Advanced Diploma from Wooster High School.
