Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson is an accomplished professional in the field of genomics and synthetic biology, currently serving as the Production Manager for Enzyme Manufacturing at Watchmaker Genomics since March 2023. Prior to this role, Charles worked as a Scientist 1 at Inscripta, Inc. from June 2016 to March 2023, contributing to the development of genome editing technology through experimental design and data analysis. Charles also gained valuable research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at Washington University in St. Louis from December 2014 to June 2016, focusing on small RNA constructs, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison between November 2012 and August 2014, where the work involved engineered TAL effectors for gene regulation in E. coli.
