Rachel Barrett

Rachel Barrett is a seasoned water resources professional with a diverse background in engineering and research. Currently serving as a Water Resources Specialist at WaterNSW since June 2024, Rachel plays a crucial role in managing the state's water supply system. Previously, Rachel held the position of Senior Water Resources Engineer at Hydrology and Risk Consulting from May 2018 to June 2024, where expertise in hydrology and dam safety was developed. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Auckland. Early professional experiences include civil engineering roles and research internships focused on urban water management and wastewater systems.
