Rami Narte

Rami Narte is a seasoned professional in sustainability and water resource management, currently serving as the Global Sustainability Lead at WaterAid since May 2023, where responsibilities include improving operational environmental impact within the International Federation. As the Chief Impact Entrepreneur at the Nordic Agency for Sustainable Impact since October 2017, Rami has advanced water stewardship initiatives in the MENA region and organized significant forums in partnership with GIZ. Previous roles include managing global partnerships at WaterAid Sverige, engaging the private sector at the Global Water Partnership, and overseeing resource efficiency initiatives for the Sweden Textile Water Initiative at the Stockholm International Water Institute. Rami's early career involved journalism with Sveriges Radio and The Jordan Times, alongside a strong educational background in water ethnography and resource management from esteemed institutions like the University of Cambridge and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education.
