Jesslyn Ferentz

Jesslyn Ferentz is a skilled meteorologist with extensive experience in weather forecasting and journalism. Currently serving as a meteorologist at WBBH-WZVN Southwest Florida since June 2020, Jesslyn previously held roles as a weekend meteorologist and multimedia journalist at WECT News from January 2018 to June 2020. Additionally, Jesslyn gained valuable experience as a weather intern at WWAY-TV and WNCT TV, where responsibilities included forecasting, creating graphics, and enhancing on-air presentation skills. Jesslyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Atmospheric Science from East Carolina University, earned between 2013 and 2017.
