Buddy Walstra

Buddy Walstra is an accomplished project manager and general manager with extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager eHRM and Project Portfolio Manager at Waterschap Noorderzijlvest since November 2022, Buddy also holds a long-term role as General Manager, Program & Project Manager, Change Manager, Advisor, and Coach at Jingga2. Additional project management experience includes positions at Gemeente Leeuwarden, Drenthe College, Gemeente Groningen, OWO-intergemeentelijke samenwerking, and SKSG Kinderopvang. Buddy has a solid educational background with a degree in Informatics from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and privacy and security management. Noteworthy achievements include leading significant projects in various organizations, contributing to operational improvements, and implementing industry standards such as ISO-27001 and NEN:7510.
