Riley Shaw

Riley Shaw is an accomplished software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience across various tech organizations. Currently, Riley serves as a full-stack engineer at Watershed, focusing on developing tools for reporting and forecasting carbon emissions. As the founder of Misery & Co., a development studio, Riley specializes in novel digital projects. Previous roles include Prototype Engineer at ClassDojo, where collaborative platforms for kids were designed, and contributions to Nike's R&D as a prototype engineer. Riley has also played critical roles in initiatives at Mozilla, Khan Academy, and the Recurse Center, enhancing skills in engineering, user-focused design, and team collaboration. Academic credentials include a B.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University and an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Crescent School.
