Iain Batty

Iain Batty is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in information security and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Consultant at Waterstons since July 2013, Iain leads the ISO 27001 implementation initiative, focusing on process analysis, policy creation, risk assessment, and security awareness training. Iain's previous roles at Waterstons include Technology Consultant and Bespoke Software Consultant, where responsibilities spanned software development, client interaction, and project planning. Prior to Waterstons, Iain gained valuable experience as a Software Developer during an industrial placement at DuPont Teijin Films, where skills in multi-threaded application development and industry-specific IT support were honed. Iain holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development from Teesside University, completed in 2013.
