Simon Holroyd

Simon Holroyd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information security, project management, and psychological assessments. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Consultant at Waterstons since March 2023, Simon previously held the position of Director of Information Security & Compliance at NatCen Social Research, where responsibilities included data protection, quality management, and compliance with various ISO standards. With a career that began in 1992 at the Defence Evaluation Research Agency (MOD) as a Business Psychologist, Simon has also worked at HM Prison Service, Gregory Harland Ltd, and ORC International, culminating in significant roles at the National Centre for Social Research from 2003 to 2022, including Director of Delivery & Change and Director of Projects & Programmes. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Applied Criminological Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, and another MSc in Psychological Assessment in Organisations from Goldsmiths, University of London.
