Sarah Teague

Sarah Teague is a dedicated educator and journalist with extensive experience in teaching and media. Currently serving as a Journalism Teacher and Media Staff Adviser at Waxahachie Independent School District since June 2022, Sarah also taught English at the same institution from August 2021 to January 2022 as a Student Teacher. Prior experience includes internships at St. Louis Post-Dispatch as a Breaking News Intern and Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. as an Editorial Intern. Sarah was the Editor In Chief at The Standard Newspaper and held a News Reporting Intern position at Christian County Headliner, focusing on community journalism. Additional roles include Life Editor at The Standard Newspaper and News Producer at Ozarks Public Radio. Sarah holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Missouri State University.
