Gabe Karp

Gabe Karp is a highly experienced venture capital and private equity professional, currently serving as a Partner at Detroit Venture Partners since May 2013 and as a Venture Partner at Lightbank since January 2020. Karp has been involved as a board member for several companies, including Rockbot, Quikly, Waymark, Burnstein Gary Community Health Clinic, BillTrim Inc (until September 2023), and Benzinga (until October 2021). Additionally, Karp held the positions of Chief Development Officer and board member at Marxent Labs until October 2021, and served as a board advisor at Detroit Labs until August 2018. Karp holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School.
