Maria Moon

Maria Moon is a highly experienced Sr. Product Design Lead currently working at Waymo since February 2017, where contributions focus on user experience design within the self-driving car initiative that originated as a Google project in 2009. Prior to this role, Maria served as a Sr. User Experience & Interaction Designer at Google from January 2015 to February 2017, playing a key role in the development of Firebase Analytics. Maria also held the position of Principal Designer at m+h design office from 2006 to December 2016, engaging in various client projects. Additionally, Maria worked as a Lead Sr. User Experience Designer at Samsung Electronics America from December 2010 to December 2014, where the focus was on smart home products. Teaching experience includes serving as Adjunct Faculty at the Art Center College of Design from September 2009 to December 2010. Maria holds a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design from the ArtCenter College of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Washington.
