Rowan McAllister

Rowan McAllister is a highly experienced professional in the field of machine learning, currently serving as a Staff Research Scientist at Waymo. Prior to this role, Rowan held several significant positions including Manager and Research Scientist in Machine Learning at Toyota Research Institute. Additionally, Rowan has contributed to academia as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, and gained industry experience as a Machine Learning Intern at Uber and a Software Engineer Intern at Google. Rowan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics from the University of Sydney.
