Varun Singh

Varun Singh is a Robotics Software Engineer at Waymo since November 2024, previously working in engineering roles focused on robotics and autonomy at Applied Intuition from February 2021 to September 2024. Varun has extensive experience in designing and implementing localization, object tracking, and mapping algorithms in C++, as well as managing hardware-software integrations for autonomous vehicles. Varun's earlier internships include developing autonomous navigation solutions at Bobcat Company, refining radar detection systems at Anduril Industries, and working on optimization applications at Microsoft. Varun holds a B.S. in Robotics from Harvey Mudd College and has contributed to various projects, including the development of complex software systems and autonomous systems through internships and academic programs.
