Vincent Vanhoucke

Vincent Vanhoucke is a Distinguished Engineer at Waymo since June 2024, following an extensive tenure at Google from October 2007 to June 2024, where Vincent served as Senior Director and led the Robotics division at Google DeepMind. Vincent's previous positions at Google included Distinguished Scientist in Robotics, Principal Scientist, and Staff Research Scientist, overseeing various projects in deep learning and speech technology. Prior to Google, Vincent held roles at Like.com, where the focus was on research and development in visual search, and at Nuance Communications, specializing in automatic speech recognition and related technologies. Vincent earned a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an Ingenieur degree from CentraleSupélec.
