Sheu-Jane Gallagher

Sheu-Jane Gallagher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and entrepreneurship. As the Principal of SJ/Gallagher Consulting since February 2015 and a Part-time Faculty member in the College of Engineering at Wayne State University since September 2019, Gallagher has made significant contributions to academia and industry. Gallagher served as the Entrepreneurial Lead for Team Repela in the National Science Foundation I-Corps program and co-founded Repela Tech, LLC., where Gallagher held the position of Co-founder and General Manager until October 2023. Previous roles include Commissioner for the Michigan Commission on Community Action and Economic Opportunity, and various leadership positions at TechTown, including Director of Entrepreneurial Services. Gallagher has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and has served in academic roles at Wayne State University and other institutions since the early 1990s.
