Sarthak Shetty

Sarthak Shetty is a Machine Learning Engineer currently at Wayve since October 2024, with prior experience as a Computer Vision Engineer at Path Robotics where segmentation networks for autonomous welding were developed. Sarthak served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute, contributing to a publication at the Conference on Robot Learning (CoRL '22). Earlier experiences include a research internship at Intel Labs focusing on SLAM systems, a Research Associate role at the Indian Institute of Science resulting in publications, and multiple internships during undergraduate studies at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and with projects in robotics and autonomous systems. Sarthak holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
