Laura Wartel

Laura Wartel is a seasoned event producer and arts administrator currently serving as the Special Event Producer and Membership Manager at WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit since December 2023. With a background that includes roles such as Internal Events Manager at the Detroit Historical Society and Assistant Venue Manager at Lighthouse Immersive, Laura has developed expertise in event coordination and arts management. Experience includes managing the Art & Apples Festival® as the Manager of Exhibitions & Artists at Paint Creek Center for the Arts, and serving on the board of Detroit Passport to the Arts, which focuses on promoting engagement in the arts community. Laura's education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Arts Administration from Eastern Michigan University and a Master's in Arts and Cultural Management from Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters.
