Aly Sakr

Aly Sakr is a skilled software developer with extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development for property management systems, currently employed at protel hotelsoftware since April 2022. Previously worked at SpacialDB, where Aly contributed to the development of Geobase and the migration of Mapnik. Prior roles include leading a software team at Master Micro for the Analog Designer’s Toolbox, serving as a research associate focusing on the Edge Diagnostics Platform at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund, and developing embedded systems software as a research assistant. Aly's educational background includes a Master's degree in Embedded Systems for Mechatronics and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Passion for electronics began early, with experience as an electronics hobbyist and volunteer teacher.
