Kara Pacheco

Kara Pacheco is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in community engagement and retail banking. Currently serving as the Director of Community Engagement at Webster Bank since February 2022, Kara previously held the position of Regional CRA Officer at Sterling National Bank from June 2018 to February 2022. Prior to that, Kara was involved with Astoria Bank, progressing from AVP Retail Banking/Assistant Manager to VP-Retail Banking/Branch Manager between March 2013 and February 2022. Kara began a career at TD Bank as an Assistant Store Manager from August 2006 to February 2013 and started in the banking industry as a Personal Banker at Astoria Federal Savings from 2004 to 2006. In terms of education, Kara holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Hunter College and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from Long Island University.
