James Borchuck

James Borchuck is an experienced media professional with a robust background in video production, journalism, and photography. Currently serving as a Producer at WEDU PBS since May 2021, James holds FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification and has been involved in the Greater Ybor series. Prior to this role, James spent over two decades at Tampa Bay Times, where key contributions included producing the Hidden Histories web series, live streaming press conferences, and creating the true crime podcast "Blood and Truth." As a Staff Photojournalist, James covered significant events such as the Super Bowl and the Olympics. Earlier experience as a Photojournalist at The Detroit News included daily coverage of news and sports, earning multiple accolades for excellence in photography. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University.
