Martin Weatherston-Wilson

Martin Weatherston-Wilson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in public and private M&A, capital markets, and private equity. Currently serving as Counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP since September 2017, Martin previously held the position of Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett from October 2014 to September 2017. Prior to this, Martin was an Associate in the Corporate team at Herbert Smith Freehills, specializing in M&A, following a successful trainee solicitor period that culminated in qualification in March 2014. Martin has also completed secondments with notable clients, including TUI Travel, UBS Investment Bank, and Virgin Atlantic Airways. Educational credentials include an Accelerated Legal Practice Course and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, as well as a History degree from the University of Bristol.
