Mark Ranalli is the Dean of Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship, Montana State University, which provides cross-disciplinary (e.g., engineering, innovation, management and entrepreneurship) graduate and undergraduate programs aimed at creating leaders for the innovation economy of the 21st century. Mark himself is a serial entrepreneur. His third and most recent venture, Helium.com, was a pioneer in crowd sourcing content over the internet. At the time of the Company’s exit to RR Donnelly, Helium.com was the largest editorial community in the world. Mark remained at RR Donnelly for several years after the acquisition to oversee the integration and to spearhead RR Donnelly’s new Digital Solutions Group before joining Tufts’ faculty. He is experienced at building and leading teams, sales and marketing, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, branding, business development, and product development, with a proven track record of success in founding and driving innovative businesses, and in raising capital through private equity, strategic partnerships, and public markets.
Mark holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
