Ana-Maria Cujba

Ana-Maria Cujba is a computational biologist currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, focusing on single-cell data analysis for projects related to COVID-19 infection models and the Human Cell Atlas. Previously, Ana-Maria completed a PhD at King's College London, where research centered on modeling Monogenic Diabetes using human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived pancreatic organoids. Educational qualifications include a Master in Science in Biochemistry (Immunology) from the University of Aberdeen, where Ana-Maria also gained experience as a research trainee at GSK and participated in the iGEM competition at MIT. Ana-Maria actively contributed to various conferences and served in several roles, including class representative and careers subject representative during academic tenure.
