Mo Lotfollahi is currently a faculty member at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine, as well as an associate faculty at the Wellcome-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, with all roles commencing in May 2024. As a scientific co-founder of AI VIVO since March 2024, Mo Lotfollahi leads the scientific strategy for a novel AI platform and drug discovery pipeline. Additional roles include serving on the scientific advisory board for Santa Ana Bio, Inc. since February 2022, and previously holding positions such as Director of Machine Learning Research at Relation Therapeutics, Team Leader at HelmholtzZentrum München, and PhD Student at the Technical University of Munich. Mo Lotfollahi’s educational background includes a PhD in Computational Biology from the Technical University of Munich, a Master's degree in Computer Engineering-Artificial Intelligence from Sharif University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Tabriz.
