William Keough

William Keough, MD, MSc, FAAP, serves as the VP Senior Medical Director of Utilization Management, Member Appeals & Grievances, and Medical Policy at WellSense Health Plan. With a robust background in medical leadership, William previously held positions as Medical Director at UPMC Health Plan and the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Office of Medical Assistance. Additionally, William is actively involved in the American Academy of Pediatrics Group Insurance Trust as a Trustee and serves as Co-Chairman of the Advocacy Committee for the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. William holds a Doctor of Medicine from UMass Chan Medical School and a Master of Science in Biology from Northeastern University.
