Clifton Watson is the Director of the Jewett Center for Community Partnerships and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Wesleyan University, a position held since February 2018. Prior to this role, Clifton served as Program Manager for Education and Youth Development at Fairfield County's Community Foundation from April 2017 to January 2018, and as Director of the African American Male Initiative at Children's Aid Society from August 2010 to April 2017. Additionally, Clifton has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn College and Westchester Community College. Earlier roles include Assistant Director at Princeton Center for Leadership Training and Program Coordinator at Grand Street Settlement and Leadership, Education and Athletics in Partnership. Clifton holds a Master of Arts in History from Fordham University and has previously attended North Carolina Central University and the University of Connecticut.
