Matteo Brunelli

Matteo Brunelli is an experienced physiotherapist currently serving as the Assistant First Team Physiotherapist and Academy Rehabilitation Physiotherapist for West Ham United FC since June 2022. Responsibilities include providing high-quality physiotherapy services to the U21 team, coordinating injury prevention strategies, and maintaining medical records. Prior roles include Head of Academy Sports Science and Medicine at Stevenage Football Club, Lead Physiotherapist for the Chinese Olympic Committee, and personal physiotherapist for professional athletes. Matteo has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and holds a Master of Science in Sports Physiotherapy from the University of Bath and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
